Over 21 Million for development of lighter Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicles

By Zachary Alexander on

Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles will be the real beneficiaries of the 21.75 million dollar investment by the Depart of Energy in lightweight materials. The reason is because hydrogen fuel cell vehicles are already the lightest vehicles in development, which is why they are so energy efficient. And building them from even lighter weight materials will increase their efficiency and extend their range.

The major rational for early investment in hydrogen convergence is that it doesn’t penalize economic activity. And the biggest challenge is ensuring that life can be conducted without any major process changes. Most American families will not fit comfortably in a battery electric sub-compact. But, you won’t hear that on any of the major cable news channels.
