The Doha Round and the P2P Economy

Last week, the Doha round of International trade talks was restarted. This is a great development for middle and working class people around the world. As the readers of the ebTDesign Forum know, we have spent the past six months carrying posts about the benefits of redefining globalization and the emergence of the P2P Economy.

The suspension of the Doha Round of talks was a reaction to the changing international business landscape.  The OECD called this shift the Information Economy. At ebTDesign, we think that these changes to industrial economies will go much further than online communities and content. We think that the P2P Economy will have the same kind of impact as the industrial revolution did at the beginning of the last century.
